morethanmendingI thought perhaps I should post something before folks start denying me entry to comms based on the fact that my journal looks bleak and empty.
Hi there!
I'm not sure why I decided to create another journal. I've had several over the years both here as well as on a few other sites. I suppose I keep coming back for the same reason I can't pass the office supply aisle at Wal-Mart without buying something. Journaling is an addiction I can't quite seem to shake.
Anyway, let's see. What to say about myself... Well, I like to write. I like to craft. I enjoy quilting and crocheting and sewing. I like finding a warm patch of sunlight to sit in. I'm perpetually cold. I can't ever seem to work any warmth into my fingers.
I travel for a living, which is great because it allows me to sack away money for a rainy day (or for when I forget to pay into my health insurance and they end up charging me a buttload in order to get my plan back, oops). I'd like to settle, though, someday. I'd like a little piece of land somewhere near the coast where I can have my little home with a little coop for my future chickens and a spare room where I can build quilts and other fun items to sell and live off the proceeds. I suppose I could sell my future chicken eggs, too. I'm not sure what the going rate is for chicken eggs is these days.
